Vegetable Tanned Leather
- Definition: Vegetable tanned leather is the top-grain leather tanned with vegetable tanning agents extracted from plants, such as tannic acid solutions, plant polyphenols and other polyphenolic compounds. It is generally cowhide, also known as tannin leather or vegetable tanned leather.
Characteristics
- Environmentally friendly and healthy: Using natural vegetable tanning agents, it does not contain substances harmful to the human body, and can come into direct contact with the skin, exuding a natural plant aroma.
- Texture properties: The leather fiber tissue is compact, with small extensibility, good moldability, a plump and elastic surface, no greasy feeling, and a glossy grain surface and suede surface.
